The bolt closes lightning fast and smooth and thanks to the new “MAUSER-Spread-Lock-250” (bolt with two massive locking lugs), it safely locks twice to 125 degrees (250 degrees in total) with 66 mm2 contact surface (10% more contact than the proven MAUSER 98). Maximum safety thus combines with maximum repeating performance. ABSOLUTELY INTUITIVE. UNCOMPROMISINGLY RELIABLE. The straight bolt handle is ergonomically positioned above the trigger for fastest repeating without frills. The two-position safety acts directly on the striker and can easily be controlled by hand.
